Illini Guardians is built to focus not on one or two high profile student-athletes, but to broadly benefit the fan base, all student-athletes, and the communities from which they come. For student-athletes in all sports to use their notoriety and experiences to engage those in need through community programming is an integral component of what it means to contribute, appreciate and be truly educated.
